Money Talk

At Minerva Design, we craft handmade cabinetry, which can include some options that may affect the price tag, but is the cost of our cabinetry as high as you initially expected?

In this week's blog, we are delving into the unpopular topic of money; we want to give you a little insight into Minerva and our pricing to provide some reassurance that handmade cabinetry doesn't always result in the price tag being on the larger side!

Firstly, why choose Minerva Design over an off-the-shelf kitchen?

At our Herefordshire workshop, we design, measure, craft, and fit quality cabinetry that is built to last, using quality materials rather than melamine-faced chipboard (MFC) that most off-the-shelf companies use. In addition, what we craft is handmade, which simply means that we craft cabinetry so that it is entirely individual for you to fit the exact space of your home, leaving no gaps.

As our designs are entirely bespoke for each of our clients, this doesn't allow us to put a standard price tag on our cabinetry. We understand this may leave you questioning what your kitchen could cost, which is why we have done a little research.

Although certain choices and specifications can alter the price (whether that's an increase or a decrease!) on average, excluding VAT and appliances, our price tag is around £15,000, including fitting, worktops, sinks, taps and handles! The price for your project could still be lower than this average or higher, depending on your space and chosen specifications.

We recommend speaking to one of our designers for an initial consultation and showroom visit, as they will be more than happy to give you a bespoke estimate whilst

working within your budget.

Keep an eye out for our new brochure, launching soon, where we go into a bit more detail, including average prices on four typical kitchen layouts!

If you are intrigued to find out the estimate of your dream kitchen, all you need to do is contact us to book a showroom visit and send across your plans.
