Our 2025 Kitchen Projects So Far: What We’ve Been Creating This Year

We're halfway through 2025, and what a year it's been. Our workshop has been buzzing — cutting, sanding, painting and crafting without pause — while our designers have been creating spaces filled with elegance, purpose, and heart. It'salways a joy to work so closely with our clients, tailoring kitchens to their homes, their lifestyles, and their personal style.

And though every project holds its own story, we thought we'd pause and share just a few of the kitchens we've brought to life so far this year.

The Gwernyfed Project

Nestled within a 17th-century Welsh manor, The Gwernyfed Project brings together several carefully considered spaces, at the centre of which sits a truly grand kitchen. Handcrafted in Our Florence Collection, this space blends historical elegance with contemporary restraint. The cabinetry, painted in our soft, neutral Latona 100, gently reflects the light that floods through a full-height glass wall, creating a sense of calm and openness.

At once refined and practical, this kitchen balances its Georgian detailing with modern architectural elements, such as a striking spiral staircase and expansive glazing. The honed 'Cosmos' granite worktops add bold contrast and a grounding presence, anchoring the palette with their deep, inky surface — a subtle nod to the manor's heritage and character. It's a space that honours the past while embracing modern living with quiet confidence.

The Almeley Kitchen

A kitchen shaped by light, oak, and a love of country living, The Almeley Kitchen sits at the heart of a dream Oakwrights home with panoramic views across the Herefordshire hills. Framed by exposed beams and filled with natural light, this design features Our Classic Ferrara Collection, handcrafted and painted in the rich, calming hue of Concordia 160.

What began as a few unresolved plans from other companies became something truly special through conversation and collaboration. By listening carefully to our client's needs, we created a kitchen that doesn't simply serve the space — it enhances their lifestyle. With golden tones of natural oak, joyful accents of yellow, and a bold blue backdrop, this kitchen is warm, expressive, and built to be lived in.

The Pencombe Kitchen

Set within a beautifully converted lambing shed, The Pencombe Kitchen is a story of transformation. This once-compact space posed layout and worktop challenges — but our design team responded with ingenuity and care. A peninsula design now offers a generous surface area for cooking and baking while preserving an easy, open flow throughout the room.

Painted in a two-toned palette of Honus 060 and Silvanus 230, this kitchen balances light and depth with charm. A bespoke oak dining table, connected seamlessly to the peninsula, provides a gathering spot for meals, guests, and conversation — making this kitchen not just functional but the true heart of the home.

The Southrop Kitchen

What began with a single colour — the rich, earthy green of Ceres 210 spotted in our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom — soon became a kitchen layered in warmth, depth, and handcrafted detail. The Southrop Kitchen is a masterclass in tonal design, pairing Ceres 210 with the deeper, dramatic Tellus 300 for a striking two-toned palette. This renovation includedremoving an internal wall, opening up the space and giving our client the light-filled kitchen they had long envisioned.

Thoughtful elements like a countertop cupboard with bi-folding doors and a tall larder with oak shelving and spice racks provide not only generous storage but beautiful, characterful focal points. It's a space that feels as considered as it does effortlessly — a celebration of materials, craftsmanship, and personal style.
