There's something magical about witnessing a space completely transform — from dated and uninspired into something full of character, flow, and warmth. The Belgravia Kitchen is a perfect example of how a carefully designed bespoke kitchen can elevate not just a room, but the way a home is lived in.
Before: The Blank Canvas
When our clients first approached us, they were keen to move on from a tired kitchen that no longer suited their lifestyle. The layout felt disjointed, lacking both functionality and personality. Once the old kitchen was removed and the electrics, plumbing, plastering and painting complete, the room became a true blank canvas — ready for a new beginning. It was here that the vision for a handmade kitchen rooted in craftsmanship and elegance began to take shape.
After: A Kitchen Reimagined
The finished Belgravia Kitchen sits within a beautifully extended mid-century home, blending modern architecture with timeless detail. Handcrafted in Our Ferrara Collection – a refined interpretation of the classic Shaker kitchen – the space champions clean lines, traditional joinery, and the understated beauty of in-frame cabinetry.
Our clients were drawn to the quiet elegance of our design, but also wanted individuality through colour. We introduced a palette that balances both boldness and calm: 'Vesta 170', a grounding teal-green with blue undertones, paired with the crisp softness of 'Latona 100'. Together, these tones create contrast and depth, allowing the bespoke kitchen cabinetry to sit proudly at the heart of the home. Gentle oak accents are layered throughout, introducing warmth and a natural texture that makes the room feel both luxurious and lived-in.
The details elevate the design even further. Satin brass handles from Carlisle Brass add a subtle heritage note, while a Quooker tap in patinated brass blends everyday practicality with aged character. Worktops in Carrara quartz by Silestone provide timeless appeal with soft veining that feels elegant yet hardwearing. Behind the cooking zone, a unique Stainforth toughened silver mirror splash-back enhances the light and adds a reflective depth that quietly transforms the atmosphere of the room.
A Kitchen Designed for Living
At the heart of the design lies a large central island, the kind of feature every luxury kitchen aspires to have — a true hub for gathering, preparing food, and entertaining. Opposite, a symmetrical run of cabinetry with a classic countertop cupboard provides balance and order, while concealing cleverly integrated storage.
The dedicated cooking area has been designed with purpose: two built-in ovens sit neatly beside a sleek induction hob, framed by deep pan drawers designed to hold even the bulkiest of kitchen essentials. Around the corner, you'll find a larder cupboard with double doors — a space that is both practical and beautiful, a treasure trove of storage hidden in plain sight. A discreet utility nook, crafted within what could so easily have been overlooked space, has become our clients' cherished baking area, complete with mixers, recipe books, and ingredients at hand.
Even the most minor details have been considered. A fully integrated dishwasher sits beside the sink, with crockery drawers directly opposite to create a seamless cleaning routine. A wine fridge has been thoughtfully positioned at the end of the island, making clever use of what might otherwise have been forgotten space, while the fridge freezer is built seamlessly into the tall run of cabinetry, ensuring the flow of the design remains uninterrupted.

The transformation of the Belgravia Kitchen is not just a story of aesthetics — it is about how a bespoke handmade kitchen can enhance daily rituals, add value to a home, and bring joy to everyday life. From its refined in-frame cabinetry to its layered colour palette, from the elegant Shaker design to the considered storage solutions, every detail of this project has been shaped by craftsmanship and purpose.
