BROAD OAK KITCHEN

The Broad Oak kitchen was crafted in our Bologna collection and painted in Luna 110. Bar handles, cup handles and knobs in iron were chosen from Crofts & Assinder for the kitchen cabinetry. To complete their design, our clients decided on a oak worktop to keep the natural look throughout the kitchen.

The Broad Oak Kitchen is nestled within a charming 200-year-old farmhouse. This quaint country kitchen was thoughtfully handcrafted to make the most of the available space while preserving the original historical features that infuse the home with character and charm. Our clients were deeply passionate about maintaining these elements, ensuring that the new design would seamlessly blend with the farmhouse's rich heritage.

For this project, our Bologna collection proved to be the perfect choice. The collection's hallmark pencil beading outlining the doors and drawers adds a touch of refinement and elegance to the traditional shaker style, which our clients adored. This delicate detail enhances the classic look of the kitchen, bridging the gap between traditional design and contemporary functionality. The Bologna collection's timeless appeal ensures that the kitchen will remain stylish and relevant for years.

One of the most stunning features of this kitchen is the exposed oak beams, which stand as a proud reminder of the home's storied past. These beams add a rustic yet elegant touch, making the kitchen feel warm and inviting. To honour this architectural legacy, we chose oak as the primary material for the kitchen's carcass.

In addition to the oak carcass, we incorporated oak into various extra touches throughout the kitchen. The open shelving, crafted from the same beautiful oak, provides both functionality and a stylish display for kitchenware and decorative items. The oak drawer inserts add another layer of sophistication, ensuring that every detail, no matter how small, contributes to the overall elegance of the kitchen.

One of the standout features of the Broad Oak Kitchen is the pair of tall larders. These larders, strategically positioned in the walkway, maximise storage space without compromising the kitchen's open design. They offer ample room for all our clients' kitchen essentials, keeping everything organised and easily accessible. The clever use of these larders exemplifies our commitment to blending practicality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring that the kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful.

The colour palette chosen for the Broad Oak Kitchen further enhances its charm. Soft, muted tones complement the natural beauty of the oak, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The gentle hues reflect the countryside surroundings, bringing a touch of the outdoors inside and reinforcing the connection between the home and its picturesque setting.

Every aspect of the Broad Oak Kitchen was designed with our client's vision in mind. They wanted a space that met their practical needs and celebrated the history and character of their beloved farmhouse. By incorporating historical features with modern conveniences, we have created a kitchen that honors the past while embracing the present.
