FROME KITCHEN
The Frome Kitchen was crafted in our Ferrara collection and painted in Terra 330. Cup handles and knobs were chosen from Crofts & Assinder in polished nickel, and the tap was selected in chrome from Perrin & Rowe. To complete the look, our client chose a carrara Quartz worktop which the whole family loves.
The original layout of the room presented some challenges for our clients, feeling a bit cramped for their growing family's needs. However, understanding the potential for change and improvement, they made the strategic decision to move the utility wall back. This thoughtful adjustment completely transformed the area, significantly enhancing the flow and functionality of the home. As a result, the newly opened layout provided ample room for both a spacious dining area and their beautiful new kitchen, creating the perfect setting for family gatherings and everyday living.
One of the standout bespoke features of this kitchen is the handcrafted, bespoke larder cupboard. Due to the presence of a structural pillar within the space, we had to thoughtfully incorporate the larder cupboard around it, leading to a creative and innovative solution. This pillar not only challenged us but also inspired a one-of-a-kind design that adds character to the kitchen. The pillar resulted in shelving with two different depths, creating a dynamic and functional storage solution. One side of the larder is notably deeper, providing generous space for larger items, while the other side features shallower shelving, ideal for organizing smaller essentials. This thoughtful variation makes the larder cupboard a bespoke item that our clients adore, perfectly reflecting their individual style and meeting their storage needs.
Every time they reach for their favourite ingredients or cooking tools, they're reminded of the unique design choices that elevate their kitchen experience. The combination of practicality and creativity in this larder not only enhances the kitchen's functionality but also adds a distinctive touch that makes it truly special.
The Frome Kitchen was painted in 'Terra 330,' a warm, neutral colour that infuses the space with an inviting ambience. The soft, earthy tones of 'Terra 330' harmonize beautifully with the kitchen's design elements, complementing the natural light that streams in and reflecting the warmth of the surrounding environment. As a result, the kitchen feels open and intimate, inviting everyone to feel at home while cooking, dining, or simply enjoying each other's company.
