MARDEN KITCHEN

The Marden kitchen was handcrafted in our Sorrento collection, our Shaker-inspired modern design that blends timeless cabinetry with contemporary elegance. The cabinetry around the perimeter of the kitchen was painted in 'Somnus 050', a soft, neutral hue that creates a serene and welcoming atmosphere. This calming backdrop allows the feature island to stand out as the centerpiece of the design.

The aged brass knobs and bar handles from Yesterhome were carefully selected to complement the walnut and Somnus 050 cabinetry. Their patina adds a sense of history and warmth, enhancing the kitchen's inviting ambience. The 'Carrara Quartz' worktop, with its classic veining and pristine finish, ties all the elements together, providing a durable and elegant surface that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

The Marden kitchen is our first project to be crafted in the Sorrento collection, representing a perfect harmony of style and functionality. Our clients were particularly drawn to the smooth, frameless design, which gives the kitchen a sleek, uncluttered look. The Shaker-inspired cabinetry doors and drawers add a touch of tradition, grounding the modern elements with a sense of timeless charm.

The kitchen island is undoubtedly the focal point of this design. Handcrafted from rich, warm walnut wood, it serves as a visual anchor, a practical workspace and a social hub. The walnut wood's natural grain and deep colour provide a stunning contrast to the neutral Somnus 050 cabinetry, adding depth and character to the overall design.

In addition to the island, we extended the use of walnut wood to other elements of the kitchen to create a cohesive look. The larder cupboard, spice racks, drawer boxes, and bespoke shelving were all crafted from walnut, ensuring a consistent and luxurious feel throughout the space. These custom features offer ample storage and organisation options, making the kitchen as functional as it is beautiful.
