What You Should Bring To Your Kitchen Showroom Appointment
23rd April 2025
Preparing for your kitchen showroom appointment? Here's what to bring, from your budget and room plan to timescales and inspiration.
Planning a handmade, bespoke kitchen is complete personal journey. Your kitchen showroom appointment is the opportunity to bring your vision to life and arriving prepared makes all the difference. Below is what we recommend you to bring to get the most out of the appointment with one of our expert designers.

LETS TALK MONEY
You don’t need an exact budget in mind (though its great if you do), but a rough idea helps us tailor our recommendations.
We are very transparent and are always happy to discuss costs upfront and our designers will guide you on where to invest based on what you want. It also helps us if we know whether your budget includes worktops, appliances and installation so we can give a more accurate estimate.
A DIMENSIONED ROOM PLAN
To create an accurate and detailed kitchen design, we need precise measurements of your space. Whether it’s an architect’s DWG/PDF plan or a simple hand-drawn sketch, the following details are essential:
- Window and door measurements, including their exact positions
- Ceiling heights
- Any architectural features that may impact the layout (e.g., beams, pillars, or sloped ceilings)
- These measurements allow us to generate realistic renders and ensure a seamless fit for your bespoke cabinetry. If you're unsure about anything, don't worry, we're happy to guide you through the process

YOUR PROJECT TIMESCALE
Sharing your schedule with us, especially if the kitchen is part of a larger renovation, lets us align workshop production and installation with your plans. Build it too soon and it may sit in storage; too late and you face delays. Knowing your timescales means your kitchen is ready exactly when you need it and we will do our most to accommodate that.
YOUR KITCHEN WISHLIST
Every kitchen we create is unique and tailored specifically to you and your home. Whether you dream of a wall-length shelving unit, a walk-in pantry, or a space filled with clever storage solutions, we're here to make it happen.
If you've been collecting inspiration, Pinterest boards, magazine clippings, or even material samples, these can be incredibly useful in conveying your aesthetic preferences. Even the smallest details help us craft a kitchen that feels distinctly yours. Additionally, bringing photos of your current space gives our designers valuable insight into its layout and potential transformations.

We look forward to welcoming you and helping you craft the perfect bespoke kitchen!
