Hereford Kitchen

Hereford Kitchen

The Hereford Kitchen was crafted in our Turin collection and our Molveno collection and then painted in Hercules 150 to complete the sleek, modern aesthetic. Satin nickel bar handles were styled throughout the kitchen, and the stunning Canaletto quartz was chosen for the island worktop, cabinetry worktop and splashback.

Character and rich history

The Hereford Kitchen was designed for a charming, historical family home. The original structure, built before the 1900s, is filled with character and rich history; remarkably, some of the original bricks still bear the finger grooves of the builders who placed them, a testament to the home's enduring legacy. To complement this historic charm, our clients built a stunning extension at the back of the house, creating a spacious open-plan living area where their beautiful bespoke kitchen now resides.

A clean and polished look

The Hereford Kitchen is a unique hybrid, drawing inspiration from two of our modern collections: the Turin and the Molveno. Our clients were captivated by the sleek, push-to-open aesthetic of the Turin collection but still desired the added detail and depth that cabinetry handles provide. Our solution was to blend the two styles seamlessly, offering the best of both worlds. This innovative design approach gives the kitchen a contemporary yet intricate look, balancing modern minimalism with detailed craftsmanship.

One of the standout bespoke features of the Hereford Kitchen is the full-height cabinetry. Our clients wanted to eliminate the traditional gap between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling, resulting in a custom height that extends to the entire vertical space. This design choice maximises storage and creates a stunning, seamless finish that enhances the kitchen's grandness.

The Hereford Kitchen was painted in 'Hercules 150', a dark blue hue that brings a bold yet elegant presence to the kitchen, creating a dramatic backdrop that highlights the room's sleek and contemporary design. The navy cabinetry offers a rich contrast to the bright, airy space, making the kitchen feel both expansive and intimate. Its depth of color adds a layer of luxury, while the modern, sleek lines of the cabinetry enhance the overall aesthetic, ensuring a clean and polished look.

This kitchen not only honors the home's historic roots but also provides a contemporary haven for the family to enjoy for years to come. Scroll through our gallery below to explore The Hereford Kitchen further.

What our clients say

"We had a great experience working with the whole team at Minerva Design. With the rise in building costs during our building extension we didn't think we could afford a bespoke Kitchen. However they respected our budget and found solutions to suit our needs and our space. The result is very impressive."
