Lower Moor Kitchen
Handcrafted in our Ferrara collection, a Shaker design. The kitchen island was painted in bespoke white and blue. Nickel bar handles, cup handles and knobs adorn this kitchen and our clients chose a Quartz worktop.
An ambitious renonvation
The Lower Moor Kitchen was meticulously designed and fitted for a stunning modern extension in a beautiful family home nestled in the Worcestershire countryside. Our clients embarked on an ambitious renovation project, transforming their home with a brand new living and dining area alongside a bespoke kitchen that would sit at the very heart of it all. When it came to choosing who would bring their dream to life, they turned to us, and we could not have been more delighted to be part of such a significant and meaningful project.
Our clients arrived with a clear and confident vision for their colour palette, and it was one we absolutely loved from the moment they shared it. A beautiful dusky blue was chosen for the kitchen island, where it immediately becomes the focal point of the entire space, drawing the eye and anchoring the design. Set against the crisp, clean white of the surrounding Shaker cabinetry, the contrast is both striking and wonderfully balanced, giving the kitchen a fresh and timeless quality that feels entirely at home within the light and airy surroundings of the new extension. It is a palette that manages to feel both classic and contemporary all at once, and the result is a space that our clients fell in love with from the very first moment they saw it.

The heart of the kitchen
The island is not only visually striking but also packed with thoughtful features that make it as hardworking as it is beautiful. Generous storage, clever internal organisation and ample worktop space come together to create a centrepiece that genuinely earns its place at the heart of the kitchen. Our clients adore it, and it is easy to understand why. It is the kind of piece that improves daily life in ways both big and small, providing a natural gathering point where the family can cook together, catch up over breakfast or entertain friends with ease.
To complete the design, our clients chose satin nickel bar handles, cup handles and knobs throughout the cabinetry, a sleek and contemporary choice that sits beautifully alongside both the white Shaker cabinetry and the dusky blue island. The satin finish catches the light in the most subtle and elegant way, adding a quiet sophistication to the overall aesthetic without ever overpowering it. The Lower Moor Kitchen is a project we are incredibly proud of, a space that began as an ambitious vision and has become a truly beautiful reality. From the striking island to the carefully chosen finishes, every element has been designed and crafted with the same dedication to quality and detail that defines everything we do.

What our clients say
"Minerva came to our rescue when we had been let down and had a short time to have a kitchen built and installed on time. Karl suggested some good alterations to our original design and we worked together to get the interiors of the doors and cupboards just how we wanted them. The kitchen is of excellent quality, the quotes were clear with no hidden extras and the worktops suggested look fabulous. There are always minor problems when working around other building taking place but we were very pleased with the finished kitchen. Thanks to Jordon for the follow up. We would recommend them for anyone wanting a high quality custom built kitchen."
