Bringsty Common Kitchen

Bringsty Common Kitchen

Crafted in our Bologna collection. The cabinetry colour is 'Neptune Honed' from Farrow & Ball, and the dresser is a combination of Studio Green from Farrow & Ball and Roma 340. Our clients chose cup handles and knobs from Crofts & Assinder in satin nickel. A beautiful granite worktop completes the cabinetry run and the bespoke dresser has an oak hardwood worktop.

Designed to entertain

This Shaker Kitchen in Bringsty Common was thoughtfully crafted for a charming country cottage built in the 1800s, showcasing beautiful natural stone that tells a story of its own. Our clients, passionate about preserving their home's rich history and character, decided to add a lovely extension to the side of the cottage. This new space was designed to provide more room for family and friends to gather and enjoy, all while maintaining the timeless charm of the original structure.

In their desire to honour the cottage's heritage, our clients decided to leave part of the original stone exposed, creating a stunning feature wall that serves as a focal point in the new kitchen. This rustic element, combined with the natural wooden beams on display, imbues the space with an open and authentic feel, seamlessly blending the old with the new. The exposed stone and beams add architectural interest and evoke a sense of warmth and history, making the kitchen a cosy retreat that invites relaxation and togetherness.

A traditional country style kitchen

The design of this Shaker Kitchen perfectly embodies the quintessential 'country kitchen' aesthetic. Our clients chose neutral cabinetry that harmonises beautifully with natural wooden accessories, creating a balanced and inviting atmosphere. The soft, earthy tones of the cabinetry complement the textures of the stone and wood. This combination looks stunning and reflects the surrounding countryside's serene beauty, bringing the outside in and making the kitchen feel like a true extension of the natural landscape.

While embracing the traditional country style, our clients also wanted to infuse the kitchen with their personal touch. To achieve this, we handcrafted a bespoke dresser as a bold statement piece in the room. This unique addition features striking colour combinations that contrast with the otherwise neutral palette, adding a pop of personality and flair. The dresser serves as a practical storage solution and an artistic centrepiece that reflects our clients' individuality and creativity. Its bold colours and intricate design details draw the eye and spark conversation, making it a beloved kitchen feature.

This Shaker Kitchen is a place where the past and present coexist in perfect harmony, providing a warm and welcoming environment for family and friends to enjoy for years to come. Scroll through our gallery below and discover this Shaker Kitchen further.
