Crowle Kitchen
Handcrafted in our Bologna Collection, painted in Stone Grey with Purple Violet on the inside of their bi-fold cupboard, and featuring Crofts & Assinder knobs.
Seamless architecture
The Crowle Kitchen has a setting unlike most of the projects we take on. Tucked into the back of a 300-year-old thatched cottage, it sits within a building that has far more history than the average new build or modern extension and that context shaped everything about how it was approached.
The space itself was an addition, built by our clients to extend the footprint of the original cottage. Rather than letting it feel like an afterthought, they were deliberate about making it belong. Large dark oak beams were introduced to echo the character of the older parts of the house, and the result is a room that feels as though it has always been there, settled and very much at home within its architectural surroundings.

Crafted for the family
The layout of this kitchen is something we're proud of. Every inch has been put to good use, arranged around the needs of the people who actually live here. The central island anchors the room, offering space to cook, eat, and spend time together which is what this family wanted. The kind of feature that earns its place in a kitchen this size. A wine cooler, a dedicated chopping board station, and custom built bookcases complete the picture, each one chosen with a specific purpose and to suit a busy household.
The handcrafted cabinetry was made in our Bologna Collection, its Shaker doors and drawers finished with the signature pencil beading detail that makes this range so distinctive. Stone Grey was chosen for the paintwork, calm and refined, it lets the craftsmanship speak for itself. Inside the bi-fold cupboard, things take a different turn where bold purple violet lines the interior, a flash of personality that catches you off guard brings an unexpected contemporary edge to a classic kitchen design.

What our clients say
"2 years after Minerva designed and fitted our kitchen - and it still looks like a showcase!
Minerva designed and fitted kitchen in our house, which is over 400 years old, we don't have a right angle in the house yet they came up with ingenious ideas to utilise every possible space. The team were on hand to answer any questions and the team of fitters were simply the best bunch of people. Can't praise them enough. And so here's our review of our kitchen 2 years after it was installed. We have a busy household, children and dogs roam free. I am delighted to say that our kitchen has stood the test of time with no niggles or problems with anything. Not a single thing! and it still looks as lovely as the day it was installed.
Having a kitchen installed is probably one of the biggest expenses (after buying a house and car) and it's a room that is used everyday - constantly. It's not something that you rush into. Minerva gave us confidence to take that plunge! It needed to be stylish, practical and hardwearing and our kitchen is still just that - it's stood the test of time and still makes us smile when people come in and have that moment when they say 'wow'. All I can say is thank you"
