A beautiful period property

Step into the Edgbaston Kitchen and discover the perfect balance of form and function, where every detail has been thoughtfully crafted around our clients' needs and desires. Handcrafted for a beautiful period property in the heart of Birmingham, this kitchen blends historic charm with modern living effortlessly.

It was created using our Bologna collection our Shaker-inspired design featuring luxurious pencil-beading around the cabinetry doors. While our clients loved the Shaker style, they were after something a little more modern and industrial. Our design team relished the challenge, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary touches to create a kitchen that's truly one of a kind.

Contemporary culinary haven

Our clients went for 'Vulcan 040' a classic grey from Minerva's paint palette for their cabinetry. It's a sophisticated choice that sets an elegant tone throughout the kitchen, giving the more detailed elements something to stand out against.

To complement the grey, they chose brushed bronze bar handles from Crofts & Assinder for the handcrafted Shaker cabinetry. The warm bronze tones sit beautifully against the cool grey, and they feel as good as they look, comfortable, ergonomic, and a joy to use every day.

One of our favourite features has to be the grey Quartz worktop. Its smooth surface and subtle veining give it a real sense of sophistication, and it's just as practical as it is good-looking, resistant to stains, scratches and heat, so it's perfectly suited to busy family life.

Then there's the walnut detailing, which brings real warmth and character to the space. Walnut shelving with built-in LED lighting doubles up beautifully, offering handy storage while also becoming a lighting feature in its own right. And with appliances cleverly hidden away, those clean lines stay intact, keeping everything feeling uncluttered.

The Edgbaston Kitchen really shows off what our design team can do, blending traditional and modern touches into something genuinely stylish and functional. Grey cabinetry, walnut accents and brushed bronze hardware come together to create a warm, welcoming kitchen that works just as well for everyday meals as it does for entertaining.
