Well balanced townhouse

A priority for our Ludlow Kitchen clients was keeping the space as open and light as possible. In place of traditional wall cabinetry, they opted for bespoke open oak shelving running along and around the kitchen by keeping the room bright and airy while beautifully showcasing the natural warmth of the oak. A plate rack adds a charming finishing touch, perfect for displaying favourite pieces while keeping them close to hand.

Handcrafted in our Bologna Collection, the cabinetry is painted in a thoughtful combination of 'Aurora 240' and 'Invictus 090'. The neutral colour opens up the far corner of the kitchen with its soft, light white while the dark green adds subtle depth and character, a well balanced palette that feels perfectly at home within this beautiful 19th-century townhouse.

Aged brass knobs and a Quartz worktop complete the space, adding charm and quiet sophistication in equal measure, tying together the oak, brass and cabinetry into one seamless kitchen design. Take a look through the gallery to see more and request one of our brochures to discover our projects!

What our clients say

"Working with Minerva to design and install our kitchen was a real joy. We were totally lost when we started the process, and Karl in the design team instantly put us at ease, giving us great design ideas and always being at the end of phone, via email and in person to help guide us – who knew choosing handles would be so difficult! He kept coming back to our original brief, that we wanted to be bold, and we are so glad we made the jump and went for a yellow kitchen, which we love and provides a really fun and bright space. We both love cooking and put the importance of a practical kitchen above everything and now we’re using it, it works amazingly for us, and the design input really helped with this. The fitting team were also fantastic, friendly, tidy and they worked really well around our busy lives, boisterous dog and son. The workmanship is exceptional, and we’re delighted with the quality, with all snags dealt with efficiently and with a smile. We would recommend Minerva to anyone, using a local company really made a difference to us and we couldn’t be happier."

Mrs King: "Incredible quality and workmanship, lovely to work with and fulfilled our brief! They aren’t cheap but the quality speaks for itself."
