A reimagined farmhouse

The Rodley Kitchen was handcrafted for a traditional farmhouse nestled in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside. Our clients cherished the character of their original kitchen and wanted to honour its spirit while bringing it up to date, so they came to us. We stayed true to the classic aesthetic they loved, a beautiful oak finish, striking black worktop and iron handles, and by handcrafting the kitchen in our Bologna collection, we were able to elevate the familiar into something truly special.

The timeless Shaker design is enhanced with luxurious pencil beading, adding a refined elegance to every door and drawer. The warm oak finish pairs beautifully with the iron knobs and cup handles, reinforcing the kitchen's robust, characterful feel, while a stainless steel sink and pewter taps introduce a subtle modern touch, ensuring the space is as practical as it is beautiful. The result is a kitchen that feels both rooted in tradition and perfectly suited to contemporary family life.

One of the standout features of The Rodley Kitchen is the bespoke larder, made specifically by our expert craftsmen to meet the needs of a busy family household. Thoughtfully designed with carefully considered shelves and compartments, it provides generous storage for pantry essentials while keeping everything organised and close to hand. Far from purely functional, the larder feels like a natural extension of the kitchen itself, seamlessly integrated into the overall design and finished to the same exceptional standard as the cabinetry throughout.

The finer details are what truly set this kitchen apart. Under-cabinet lighting casts a warm, inviting glow across the workspace, while intricately crafted corbels add a touch of traditional elegance that feels entirely at home in a farmhouse setting. The granite worktop makes a striking impression, its deep, rich tones creating a bold contrast against the warm Oak finish.
