A sense of symmetry

The Stoke Lacy Kitchen is far more than a place to cook, it is a thoughtfully designed space built around the rhythms and routines of everyday family life. With a spacious and well-considered layout, an optimised flow and a beautiful sense of symmetry. Every corner has been designed with both purpose and pleasure in mind, creating a space that inspires creativity, encourages collaboration and provides the perfect backdrop for everything from quiet weekday mornings to lively family gatherings.

One of the most considered and personal touches within the design is the bespoke cabinetry height, a subtle but transformative adjustment that makes a very real difference to the everyday experience of using the kitchen. By tailoring the height of the cabinetry to suit our clients perfectly, every element of the space becomes more comfortable, accessible and enjoyable to use. It is exactly the kind of thoughtful detail that sets a truly bespoke kitchen apart from anything else, a reminder that the very best design is always built around the people who live with it.

Big plans, beautiful results

The original room was small, but our clients had big plans. By removing a wall, the whole space opened up beautifully, making way for a large central island that immediately becomes the heart of the kitchen. It is the kind of change that transforms not just a room but the way a family uses it, creating space to cook, gather and simply enjoy being together.

One detail we particularly love is the grand drawer chest, positioned directly opposite the dishwasher. It sounds like a small thing, but in practice it makes a huge difference to the daily routine. Clean crockery moves straight from the dishwasher into storage without a second thought, keeping the kitchen tidy and the workflow completely natural. It is exactly the sort of considered detail that makes a kitchen genuinely lovely to use, not just lovely to look at.

Throughout the rest of the space, we paid close attention to the symmetry of the cabinetry, making sure everything felt balanced and cohesive from every angle. Each cabinet and drawer was carefully positioned to create a sense of order that runs through the whole design. The result is a kitchen that feels thoughtful and considered at every turn, a space that our clients can be truly proud of and one that will serve their family for many years to come.

What our clients say

"Just fabulous service from beginning to end and a great quality product. All so personal and so concerned to get everything absolutely right. I have been more than delighted. Incomparably better than other kitchen companies that I have used and over the years there have been more than half a dozen."
