Rooted in character

The Stoney Cross Kitchen is a true testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines our Bologna collection. Designed with luxurious detailing and the timeless appeal of the Shaker style, it strikes a beautiful balance that feels entirely at home in its surroundings. Our clients chose the sophisticated and deeply rich hue of 'Pluto 020' for their cabinetry, a colour that feels as though it was made for this space. Set within a stunning barn conversion on the outskirts of Herefordshire, the shade enhances the rustic character of the building while adding a layer of refinement that elevates the whole kitchen design.

Rather than competing with the architecture, the cabinetry feels like a natural and considered extension of it, honouring the history and character of the building while bringing it firmly into the present. The result is a kitchen that feels both deeply rooted in its environment and utterly timeless in its appeal, a space that our clients will cherish for many years to come.

The meticulously handcrafted cabinetry is adorned with polished bronze handles that add a touch of understated luxury to every door and drawer. Despite the constraints of the available space, our clients had a clear and ambitious vision for a central island that could serve as the true heart of the kitchen. Our designers rose to the challenge with enthusiasm, crafting a multifunctional island that provides ample workspace, generous storage and a natural gathering point for family and friends. Whether it is a busy weekday morning or a relaxed weekend dinner with guests the island adapts to the rhythm of daily life.
