A balanced aesthetic

Our Milan collection was the perfect fit for this home, giving our Alcester kitchen clients the sleek, modern kitchen they had envisioned for their extension. Handcrafted in our Herefordshire workshops, the design focuses on clean lines, practical living and timeless style. From the first design consultation in our Stratford upon Avon showroom, we knew the goal was to create a space that felt contemporary yet welcoming, somewhere the family could enjoy spending time together every day.

The combination of black handleless cabinetry and warm wood accents brings a sense of balance to the space. The darker tones add depth and character, while the natural timber softens the overall look, creating a kitchen that feels warm. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the finished design is beautifully cohesive and perfectly suited to modern family life.

Where functionality flows

The island quickly became the heart of this bespoke kitchen, bringing the whole space together in a way that feels effortless. With seating on one side, it offers the perfect spot for morning coffee, catching up at the end of the day or keeping the cook company while dinner is prepared. On the other side, generous pan drawers provide plenty of storage, keeping everyday essentials organised and always within easy reach.

Finished in the same modern black cabinetry as the rest of the kitchen, the island blends seamlessly into the design, while the warm wood accents add softness and create a welcoming feel. More than just a statement feature, it has become part of everyday life. Colin and Fiona wanted a space where family and friends naturally gather, where homework gets done, conversations unfold and glasses of wine are shared while meals are prepared.
