A countryside haven

This handcrafted Shaker kitchen was created for a charming home in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. Surrounded by stunning rural views, our clients wanted a space that would embrace its picturesque setting while serving as the heart of their home. To achieve this, an existing wall was removed and replaced with elegant oak-framed bi-fold doors, flooding the room with natural light and creating a seamless connection between the kitchen and the landscape beyond. The result is a bright, welcoming space where the beauty of the countryside can be enjoyed throughout the year.

To complement the light-filled interior, we designed and crafted a glazed countertop cupboard that has become a standout feature of the kitchen. Complete with practical bi-fold doors, glass shelving and integrated LED lighting, it provides the perfect display space for our clients’ cherished glassware. The illuminated cabinet adds warmth, character and a touch of elegance, creating a striking focal point that perfectly balances practicality with timeless craftsmanship.

Designed to complement

Understanding our client’s passion for baking, we designed a bespoke dresser specifically tailored for a charming alcove in the original wall. This exquisite piece of cabinetry was fitted with precision, transforming the alcove into a dedicated baking station that not only serves as a functional workspace but also as a ‘wow-factor’ feature in the kitchen. With ample storage for appliances, ingredients, and baking tools, the dresser allows our client to express her culinary creativity with ease while keeping everything she needs within arm’s reach. From integrated chopping boards to a bespoke oak shelf with discreet LED strip lighting, every element has been designed to complement the home’s original features. These oak accents harmonize beautifully with the existing rustic oak beams, creating a cohesive look that bridges the kitchen and the historic architecture of the home.
