Character filled kitchen

The Canon Frome Kitchen was thoughtfully handcrafted for a charming timber-framed home, where preserving and celebrating the property's original character was a key part of the design. From the outset, our clients wanted the beautiful exposed beams to take centre stage, recognising their importance as one of the home's most distinctive architectural features.

These striking timbers bring warmth, texture and a sense of heritage to the space, perfectly complementing the kitchen's country-inspired design. By carefully incorporating the beams into the overall scheme, we created a kitchen that feels authentic and full of character, balancing timeless craftsmanship with the unique charm of the property.

Designed for the whole family

The kitchen is graced with expansive bay windows that flood the space with natural light, creating an open, airy atmosphere that enhances the entire home. This abundance of sunlight brightens every corner and accentuates the original beams' texture and beauty, enriching the inviting country kitchen feel that our clients absolutely adore.

We included a bespoke feature in The Canon Frome kitchen that truly sets this design apart: a dedicated area for the family dog! Our design team understand the importance of including every family member in the design. Therefore, we crafted a large cabinet with an open section at the bottom, perfectly sized to accommodate a cosy dog bed. This thoughtful addition not only creates a charming pet corner but also seamlessly integrates into the kitchen's overall design, making it both functional and stylish. Our clients are not just satisfied, they are thrilled with this feature, as it not only caters to their pet's needs but also showcases a delightful aspect of their family life. It has quickly become a favourite among their guests.

The kitchen is equipped with various innovative storage solutions that maximize the available space while keeping the kitchen organized and clutter-free. Every inch of the kitchen is utilised effectively, from pull-out pantry drawers to cleverly designed shelving. "Our experience of Minerva is overwhelmingly positive. As an upfront statement, we’ve got a brand new bespoke kitchen that seamlessly fits our old barn, designed to make life as simple and ergonomically efficient as we wanted. We were extremely happy with the whole process and only have complimentary things to say about our experience with Minerva, we’d wholeheartedly recommend them if you are planning a similar project. Final note - our dogs love their cubby hole built under the counter!"
