Ivy Kitchen
Handcrafted in our Ferrara collection, painted in our 'Pluto 020' and 'Vesta 170' with brass handles and finished with Quartz and oak worktops.
A barn transformation
Our clients have spent several years lovingly renovating their barn, carefully restoring its rustic character while gradually introducing the modern comforts that make it a true home. When the time finally came to design their dream kitchen, they chose us to bring their vision to life, and we could not have been more excited to be part of such a special project. The Ivy Kitchen now sits beautifully within this stunning barn conversion on the outskirts of Hereford, occupying a bright and generous open-plan space that feels entirely at one with the spirit of the countryside surrounding it.
From the very beginning, our clients knew they wanted a kitchen that could keep up with their passion for baking and cooking, while also offering a warm and welcoming space for entertaining family and friends. We took that vision and ran with it, crafting a kitchen that delivers on every level. The centrepiece of the design is undoubtedly the magnificent kitchen island, one of the largest we have ever created at over two metres wide. It is a genuinely impressive piece, offering abundant space for preparation, cooking and casual dining all at once. Our clients absolutely love it, and honestly, it is not difficult to see why.

Worth the wait
One of our favourite touches in the kitchen is the bespoke countertop cupboard with bi-folding doors. Inside, generous oak shelving and countertop space make it the perfect home for all the morning essentials, creating a dedicated breakfast station that our clients use and love every single day. The real surprise, however, is the interior, which our clients chose to paint in 'Apollo 280', a vibrant and joyful yellow that bursts into view every time the doors are opened. It is bold and unexpected and it never fails to raise a smile from anyone who sees it for the first time.
Concealed behind a beautifully crafted oak pocket door is the utility room, a small space that works incredibly hard. The compact run of Shaker cabinetry, painted in a soft and airy blue-grey brings brightness and charm to the room, ensuring that even the more practical tasks of daily life are carried out in a space that feels considered and lovely. It is a hidden gem that the whole family has come to rely on. Alongside the kitchen and utility room, we also crafted a freestanding chest of drawers and a monk's bench, both featuring beautiful oak detailing that ties them back to the wider design. These pieces provide additional storage without compromising on style, sitting naturally within the barn's interior as though they have always been there.
The Ivy Kitchen is a project we are enormously proud of, request one of our brochures to explore more like this. From the expansive island to the cheerful breakfast station, every element has been carefully considered to create a space that is practical, beautiful and full of personality. It has been a true labour of love, and seeing it come to life within such a breathtaking setting has been an absolute joy.
