Step inside this stunning oak-framed home and discover the Swainshill Kitchen, a space that feels as though it has always belonged there. We adored every moment of designing and handcrafting this Shaker kitchen for a beautiful Oakwrights property. From the very first conversation with our clients, it was clear that they wanted a kitchen that would honour the character and warmth of the oak frame while meeting the demands of modern family life, and that is precisely what we set out to achieve.

The kitchen embodies the classic country aesthetic beautifully. Exposed oak beams, neutral tones, abundant natural light and rustic features come together to create a space that feels deeply welcoming. The 'Fortuna 380' paint provides a serene and understated backdrop, harmonising with the natural textures and warm tones of the oak frame, allowing the beauty of the oak to remain the star of the show while adding a layer of elegance that elevates the entire space. The nickel knobs and cup handles introduce a gleaming, refined finish to the cabinetry, catching the light and adding a subtle depth to the overall design.

In addition to the main kitchen, we designed, crafted and fitted the utility room, ensuring the Shaker cabinetry flows consistently throughout the heart of this home. Often an overlooked space, the utility room has been given the same level of care and craftsmanship as the kitchen itself, creating a cohesive extension of the overall design. Every shelf, every drawer and every cabinet has been considered with the same attention to detail that defines the kitchen, ensuring that the space works as hard as it looks beautiful. Bronze knobs introduce a touch of warmth and contrast, a subtle but deliberate shift from the polished nickel of the kitchen that ensures each space has its own personality while remaining part of a unified and beautifully considered whole.

The Quartz worktop is a standout feature throughout both the kitchen and utility room. Its light, elegant surface enhances the brightness of the space while complementing the subtle, neutral cabinetry and the warmth of the oak frame beautifully.
