A soft pink transformation

The home of the Tettenhall kitchen was originally a bungalow, by doing huge renovations across the whole house and knocking through rooms it gave the clients a blank canvas to create the handcrafted kitchen they'd always wanted and rather than following a modern trend for bold, dark cabinetry, they chose something gentler. Crafted in our classic Shaker Ferrara design, every cabinet here is handmade, with traditional joinery and clean lines at its core, finished in a soft blush pink from our curated palette. Michelle always knew she wanted a pink kitchen and we were thrilled to craft that for her.

The brief called for a kitchen that could disappear into daily life and still feel special, so the details do a lot of the work. A hidden pantry keeps the everyday clutter out of sight, while a glazed display cabinet gives pride of place to favourite glassware. Herringbone floor tiles add texture underfoot, and tiered glass pendants hang above the island, chosen specifically for how they catch the light pouring in through the large bay windows.

Crafted with care

The curved island takes centre stage in the bespoke kitchen, softening the room's strong lines and lending the whole layout a gentler, more organic feel that complements the blush pink palette. It's practical enough for everyday cooking yet spacious enough for everyone to gather round, and the curve echoes the shape of the bay window, allowing easy movement through the space without sharp corners to navigate. This is also where the tiered glass pendants really shine, catching the light from the bay windows and casting a soft glow across the room throughout the day.

The hidden pantry is one of those details you'd never notice unless you knew it was there. Built flush into the run of Shaker cabinetry, it tucks away everyday items, small appliances and food storage without disrupting the room's clean lines, so the kitchen stays calm even at its busiest. Together with the nearby glazed display cabinet, it strikes the perfect balance between practicality and the personal touches that make a house feel like home. Every joint and edge in this kitchen reflects the British craftsmanship behind everything we create at Minerva. If you are looking to transform your space, get in touch with us here.
